I have a product that is used in my home market and I want to get users in other EU countries. I am developer with minimal marketing/sales experience and this year my challenge to learn about marketing.

First I did research what should I do at all. 3 different sources basically proposed the same: write posts, involve in online discussions, create videos and etc. You can find number of posts that propose the same.

So far in last 2 weeks I have tried to do following:

• Tried to use AI to find relevant Reddit comments and generate answers to them:

  • It was nice to hit some limits.

  • Found comments were not relevant enough.

  • Generated answers were even worse.

  • Summary: I should not hurry with development here, but AI allows to experiment and fail fast so it is fine. Currently I am experimenting with manual process to see if there is anything to automate at all.

• Wrote about 20 commends in Reddit. As well I was banned in /r/freelance 😬

• Wrote 3 blog posts

• Spent about 20$ on Reddit ads. Got 125 clicks, but I think it is waste of money now.

Got 2 sign-ups this week, but it does not look like they became users.
