Disclaimer: I write down my business ideas that I can implement in a day or in the worst case less than a week. The principle is to figure out something simple but still useful. I may do or not do them in the future but I write them down to offload them from my head to make space for other ideas.

Idea: website where you can create postcard sized photo book and print it.

Hire: someone living in NYC who does not have a lot of space and wants to have physical photo book.

Price: 1$ per page of such photo book sounds like a reasonable price.

Direct Competitors: main printing websites do not offer this size (only bigger sizes). There are some sites offering something like that, e.g. https://www.simimaging.co.uk/custom-postcard-book . I have found some more but there are not that many actually what indicated that there might be no business actually.

Indirect Competitors: iPad or Android tablets, print postcards or photos anywhere and buy an album with sleeves where you can put them. Most probably it will take a little bit more time but it will feel more authentic and potentially will be cheaper in the end.

Blockers: I guess I don’t want to do printing at home (even if I can) so I would need to figure how to print them (e.g. https://www.gelato.com/).
